Job Description
To Process customer purchases accurately, handle customer payments and support the branch's daily operations by delivering excellent customer service and administrative assistance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Service: Welcome customers and create a positive first impression. Assist customers with payments, account queries, refunds, prices and basic product information. Direct customers to sales staff when detailed assistance is required. Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate when necessary.
2. Sales and Payment processing: Process cash, card and account payments. Handle Lay by, account instalments and deposit payments. Issue invoices, receipts and proof of payments.
3. Cash handling and control: Balance the till daily and ensure accuracy of all transaction. Follow strict cash handling procedures to prevent financial losses. Report any shortage or discrepancies immediately.
4. Administrative Support: Capture customer details and update account information. Assist with filling sales documents, delivery notes and invoices. Support the branch with basic administrative duties.
5. Maintain a clean and organized cashier area. Assist with closing and opening procedures. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedure.
